Activepieces is what you reach for when you want Zapier's ease of use without Zapier's per-task billing. It is open source and self-hostable, and its own template library now ships each entry with an estimated time saved and an ROI figure, which is a genuinely useful thing almost nobody else in this space does.

The five templates below all come from Activepieces' own official template library rather than a third-party mirror, because Activepieces does not have the kind of large independent GitHub-workflow-collection ecosystem that n8n or Dify have. What it has instead is a first-party gallery that is unusually transparent about the business case for each automation, showing time saved and rough ROI before you commit to building it.
The trade-off against n8n is real and worth naming directly. Activepieces' piece model, its equivalent of a node, is more constrained: fewer available integrations, a smaller community contributing new pieces, and less flexibility for anything that falls outside what a piece was designed to do. What you get back is a gentler learning curve and a UI closer to what a Zapier user already expects, which matters if the team building these has no automation background at all.
Because every entry here is a hosted cloud template rather than a downloadable file, there is nothing to mirror or fork. The redistribution question that matters for n8n or Langflow templates does not apply the same way: you clone the template into your own Activepieces account, the same motion as a Zapier or Make template.

The VIP threshold is whatever scoring rule you set. Get the scoring prompt wrong and you either miss real VIP leads or flood Slack with false positives, with no feedback loop built in to catch either.

Is Activepieces really free?
The core platform is open source and free to self-host. There is also a hosted cloud version with its own pricing. The templates on this page clone into either.
How is Activepieces different from Zapier?
Activepieces is open source and can be self-hosted, which removes the per-task pricing that makes a high-volume Zapier automation expensive. The trade is a smaller connector library and a smaller community than Zapier has built up over its much longer history.
Do Activepieces templates need to be downloaded?
No. Every template on this page is a hosted cloud template you clone directly into your own account, the same model as Zapier and Make. There is no file to import or licence to check for redistribution.
Where Activepieces templates stop being enough.
Every template here is configured once and then runs on that configuration indefinitely. CV Scanning and Scoring keeps grading against the criteria you set at setup; a different role needs the scoring prompt rewritten, not just a new job description dropped in. VIP Lead Alert is only as good as the scoring threshold behind it, and there is no feedback loop built in to tell you when that threshold is wrong in either direction.
